Sirens are beings that have been altered by alien technology, possibly the Eridians, granting them advanced superhuman powers. During the time that Borderlands takes place, there are thought to be six Sirens in existence. The playable character Lilith, is a siren, that has come to Pandora to search for another Siren. This other siren is thought to be Commandant Steele, due of her similar apparel and tattoos.
