Crawmerax the Invincible is a extremely strong boss in the DLC The Secret Armory of General Knoxx he is level 64 and is higher than the current level cap in playthrough 1,level 70 in playthrough 2 and level 85-90 in playthrough 2.5. He is a massive boss, though it seems he isn't quite as large as the Rakk Hive.
He can kill you very easily, in a few hits even, no matter if you are level 38 or you are at the highest level...61.
He is surrounded by new types of Crabworms called craw maggots, green crawworm and the armored craw worm. Be extremely carefull as they are also very powerful as each one is equivilent to fighting Sledge when you were about level 20.
This is the toughest enemy in the game at current, and also the highest level being 64-85 or 90. Most of his body is imune to damage except for the clearly indicated purple 'critical hit' points.These hit point do take a large amount of effort as each one takes 2-4 shots from a pearlescent sniper rifle although the reward is extremley well as in playthrough 1 he has a 25% chance of dropping a pearlescent weapon when killed in addition to ultra rare oranges like the Maliwan Hellfire. If you sold all of the loot, most of the time you can get more than the mark of money Borderlands can show and by that I mean you could get more than $9,999,999 off of 1 kill.
